This is NYC - Washington Square Park - Music

New York is a town where there is something happening on every corner and one of these days i found myself in a Washington Square Park by NY University and as i quietly strolled through the shadowy parts to hide away from the scorching sun i was suddenly entertained by a wonderful sound that was coming from a distance. I followed the music and saw the street band but classical playing the most marvelous sounds, so as a New Yorker i found a bench and sat down to enjoy the city and what it has to offer.

This  is me we re talking about so you know i would not leave my house without bringing my camera with me and so here are the captured images of what i saw.

photo
Conceived as an epitome of the traditional, elegant and contemporary, Shehnaai is a platform for all things celebratory. The brainchild of entrepreneurial couple Shirin and Sanjeev Vinayak, the studio is NY’s first Indian Couture House nurtured by the creative synergy of some of India’s greatest talent.
Shehnaai boasts of the latest collections from a pot-pourri of established and upcoming designers. While labels such as Ritu Kumar, Satya Paul, Prriya & Chintan, Amber & Shirrin and Neeta Bhargava adorn the racks, newcomers such as Saa & She, Zene by Priya and Farzeen and Sapana Amin are also given a platform. Each of the over 13 designers has a brand presence in India just like a Liz Claiborne or a Gucci would have in the local American Market and recognition of the designer’s individuality is encouraged. Carrying an assortment of designers on a seasonal rotation gives the boutique a much greater variety and keeps it completely in time with the fashion trends of India.
Each season, Shehnaai unveils a new collection in the latest designs personally selected from each of the labels along with groom’s wear, jewelry and accessories to complement the ensembles. Brides are able to visit Shehnaai’s Fifth Avenue studio by appointment seven days a week and are given 2 hours of a personalized consultation with a complete rundown on the latest trends and styles complementing your body style. Whether you are novice or a pro at Indian clothes, we guarantee you will walk away glad to have gotten the information and attention. Brides can be actively involved in every aspect of the designing process for their outfits, from looking at color swatches to confirming an embroidery sample. Special consultation with the designers in India is also made possible for custom Bridal Wear and Trousseau pieces.
With its unique product line, personalized service and marketing through the various Designer Trunk Shows and Fashion Shows hosted by them each season, the Designer House takes you closer to the Indian Designer Fashion World without having to cross the seas.
